Job Description

The Associate Administrative Assistant supports the administration group and works closely with their supervisor to follow clearly defined general services procedures. The Associate Administrative Assistant is a role that allows for the development of new administration-related skills. The Associate Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing basic administration activities and using existing procedures, to solve straightforward problems.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Adopt quality, health, safety, and environmental program of the Company
  • Sort and archive appropriate documents by company policy
  • Work on projects as needed by management
  • Develop, revise, and maintain departmental files and databases
  • Receive visitors and respond independently when possible
  • Use Microsoft Office programs on a computer to create documents and correspondence
  • Produce reports as required
  • Handle special projects or duties as assigned by the departmental manager
  • Ensure that company objectives, policies, programs, and procedures are consistently adhered to

Essential Qualifications and Education:

  • High School Diploma
  • 1-2 years’ experience
  • Ability to perform cost and data analysis
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work as a team and to work independently and collaboratively with others
  • Strong analytical skills
