You will be a key member of our Actuarial practice inPōneke Wellington, working on iconic New Zealand and overseas clients andassistingus to grow our business.This is a full-time, permanent role (minimum 37.5 hours per week, Monday toFriday)Weprovide consulting as well as audit support to insurers, crown enterprises, superannuation schemes,banksand other corporate and public sector clients, helping them make financial sense of an uncertain future.
The key responsibilities of this role are:
Work in a client-facing role with clients in the private (primarily financial services) sector or the public sector, depending on your preferred location
Supportthe delivery of complex actuarial-related projects alongside ateam to deliver quality outcomes for clients
Be a part of a vibrantrisk servicesteamwhere you will continue to develop your skills andcapability

Fellowship of arecognisedactuarial body or working towards an actuarial Fellowship.
A degree in eitherActuarial ScienceorFinance
At least 2.5years of experience as an actuarial analystin professional services or another complexorganisation
a passion for excellence and a willingness to go the extra mile
exceptional quantitative analysis and technical skills
strong interpersonal,verbaland written communication skills
strong relationship skills with confidence to engagewithsenior managementlevel
a pragmatic approach and desire to provide the best outcomes possible for your clients
an interest in wider areas of actuarial practice, including banking,healthand analytics
