This position will support various Operational accounting positions in the Poultry segments to gain experience in Poultry Plants Accounting.
Responsibilities
Provide daily support for both the Forest and Carthage Plant Accounting teams.
Processing ofPurchase to Pay P2P transactionsand orpayment processing.
Assistwith monthly close process.
Perform balance sheet account reconciliations.
Perform tasks related to one or more of the following areas: management and retention of documents.
Assist with Ad hoc managementreportsprojects as they arise.
The position will have the potential to interact with Tyson Team Members across the organization and
This position will support Payroll, Time and Attendance, and Yield.
This position will beback-upto the plant accountant.
REQUIREMENTS:
Educationand ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Financeor Businessdegree with 2 years of Accounting Experience.
Computer Skills:Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with SAP is a plus.
Communication Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Special Skills:Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team.Strong judgment and problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and collaborate with others effectively.
Supervisory:None
Travel:1 plus trips per year.
