Job Title:Associate

Apex Group is looking for an experienced and dedicated Fund Administrator to join our collaborative and inclusive team. This full-time Fund Administrator remote role is based in Japan and comes with a favourable salary and benefits package. Flexible working hours will be available upon request.

Job specification

  • Provide day-to-day oversight to the APEX team supporting clients for SPC accounting and financial reporting services to a portfolio of real estate structures, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures
  • Ensure that all day-time matters required to be completed are performed in a timely and satisfactory manner, including monitoring tasks
  • Prepare financial statements and supporting documentation in compliance with Japan GAAP
  • Work closely with the relevant Real Estate administration teams in APEX Shanghai to ensure that accounting records are accurate and transaction activity within the portfolio is understood and incorporated into the accounting ledgers as appropriate

Skills Required:

  • The role requires someone with significant experience working with Special Purpose Companies in Japan to have an understanding of the key requirements for servicing these structures and to be in a position to provide input and guidance on all future team developments.
  • Experience in accounting in Japan
  • 1-3 years working experience in Finance / Accounting relate roles in Japan
  • Experience with bookkeeping systems in Japan, such as Kanjo Bugyo
  • Japanese language (required)
  • Limited English or above (an advantage)
