We are currently seeking an Associate to be based out of Los Angeles Miyamoto International is among the nation’s fastest growing structural engineering companies. With 30 locations across the globe, our team members adapt to new challenges that reflect the diverse needs of the domestic and international communities we serve.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on structural engineering, Master’s preferred
• At least 6+ years of experience in a comparable structural engineering company performing design of buildings and structures
• Client and project management experience on structural engineering projects from concept design through construction administration as lead engineer on projects with teams of 2 or more engineers and designers--projects must include commercial, residential, education, and healthcare projects
• In-depth experience with design of vertical structures built with commonly used materials such as concrete, steel, masonry, and wood
• HCAI and DSA, ASCE 41, or performance-based design experience
• Proficiency in writing and oral presentations as well as excellent communication skills
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• PE license, CA SE license desired

The salary range for this position is $110k - $125k per year. Salary offers are determined using a variety of factors, including but not limited to: years of experience, education, depth of knowledge, geographic location, and equity with internal staff.
