Your New Role

As a Associate Regional Capability Building Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will be the learning ambassador for your region, turning business and clinical insights into practical, evidence-based training that improves team performance and patient outcomes. You will collaborate with Sales, Medical, Marketing, HR and field leaders to design, deliver and localize learning solutions, and to communicate the value of training while upholding the highest standards of ethics and compliance.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and deliver regional training programs and materials for product, sales skills and compliance.
  • Facilitate classroom and virtual sessions, role-plays and on-the-job coaching.
  • Partner with Sales, Medical, Marketing and HR to align training with business priorities.
  • Identify capability gaps through data and implement targeted interventions.
  • Localise materials and manage logistics for Delhi and Bangalore roll-outs.
  • Track training effectiveness and report insights to improve impact.
  • Provide coaching, support new hire onboarding and ensure compliance with training records.
  • Support regional needs, including occasional travel and flexible hours.

Your Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy / Science Graduate from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Sales Training function.
  • At least 3 years’ field sales experience in the pharma/healthcare sector (5+ years total field sales experience preferred).
  • Strong communication and coaching skills, with a talent for learning design and facilitation.
  • Creative, results-driven mindset with solid operational execution; professional training certifications (e.g., ISTD Diploma) are a plus.
  • Willingness to relocate and travel regionally as required.

The Sales Training team at Novo Nordisk India builds commercial capability by creating and delivering focused learning solutions (classroom, virtual and on-the-job) that strengthen product knowledge, sales skills and leadership behaviors. Working closely with Cross Functional departments, we translate strategy into learning roadmaps, measure impact and drive continuous improvement to enable better business performance.
