1. Coordinate Daily Skilled-Trades Work
The Team Lead assigns tasks, organizes daily priorities, and ensures technicians have required tools, materials, and instructions. They monitor execution closely and resolve issues affecting timely task completion. This maintains efficient workflow and supports consistent operational performance.
2. Support Maintenance, Repair, and Calibration Activities
The Team Lead oversees and participates in routine technical work such as equipment repairs, checks, and calibrations. They guide troubleshooting within established methods and ensure adherence to safety and technical procedures. Issues that affect multiple lines or exceed routine scope are escalated to the L45 Associate Manager.
3. Plan and Adjust Daily Work Schedules
They prepare daily schedules based on production needs, technical priorities, and staffing availability. Adjustments are made as conditions change throughout the shift. This ensures alignment of technical work with operational requirements while maintaining on-time execution.
4. Investigate Routine Equipment or Process Issues
The Team Lead evaluates symptoms, uses available data, and applies known solutions to recommend corrective actions. They involve operators and technicians to gather facts and escalate unresolved issues through established channels. This supports accurate troubleshooting and reduces recurrence of common problems.
