El Asociado de Manejo de Materiales es responsable de la recepción, almacenamiento y distribución eficiente de materiales y productos dentro de las instalaciones, asegurando la precisión y la integridad del inventario.
Responsabilidades del Puesto**
* Recibir, descargar y verificar la mercancía entrante contra órdenes de compra y documentos de envío.
* Inspeccionar los materiales para detectar daños o discrepancias y reportar cualquier incidencia.
* Almacenar materiales y productos de manera organizada y segura, siguiendo los procedimientos establecidos.
* Preparar y empacar pedidos para el envío, asegurando el cumplimiento de las especificaciones del cliente.
* Cargar y descargar camiones y contenedores utilizando equipos de manejo de materiales (montacargas, transpaletas, etc.).
* Mantener un inventario preciso mediante el uso de sistemas de gestión de inventario.
* Realizar recuentos cíclicos y participar en inventarios físicos.
* Mantener el área de trabajo limpia, organizada y segura.
* Adherirse a todas las políticas de seguridad y procedimientos operativos estándar.
Cualificaciones del Puesto**
* Educación secundaria completa o equivalente.
* Experiencia previa en manejo de materiales, almacén o logística (preferible).
* Habilidad para operar equipos de manejo de materiales (montacargas, transpaletas) o disposición para aprender.
* Capacidad para levantar y mover objetos pesados (hasta X kg/lbs) de forma regular.
* Atención al detalle y habilidad para seguir instrucciones.
* Conocimiento básico de sistemas de gestión de inventario (preferible).
* Excelentes habilidades de comunicación y trabajo en equipo.
* Disponibilidad para trabajar en turnos y horas extras según sea necesario.
