Key Responsibilities

Coupa Platform Leadership & Governance

  • Define and enforce Coupa governance, standards, best practices, and operating procedures across global regions.
  • Lead platform roadmap planning, upgrades, feature adoption, and optimization initiatives.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex Coupa-related issues and strategic decisions.

Integration Architecture & Real-Time Processing

  • Lead design and support of real-time and near-real-time integrations between Coupa and enterprise systems using APIs, Kafka, GCP and middleware platforms
  • Oversee integrations with Oracle Fusion Financials (GL, AP, suppliers, chart of accounts, invoices, and payments).
  • Ensure data accuracy, performance, resiliency, and monitoring across all Coupa integrations.
  • Partner with enterprise architecture and security teams to ensure compliance, scalability, and reliability.

Operations & Service Management

  • Manage day-to-day Coupa operational support using ServiceNow, including ticket intake, prioritization, SLAs, root cause analysis, and resolution.
  • Establish and maintain production support processes, runbooks, monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
  • Drive continuous improvement to reduce incidents, improve automation, and enhance end-user experience.
  • Ensure platform availability, performance, and disaster recovery readiness.

Financial & Spend Management Enablement

  • Support high-volume global procurement, invoicing, and spend management operations exceeding $1B annually
  • Partner with Procurement, Finance, and AP teams to translate business requirements into scalable Coupa solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with financial controls, audit requirements, and data governance standards.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Coupa administrators, analysts, and support resources.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Finance, Procurement, IT, Security) and external vendors or system integrators.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Lead design reviews, operational reviews, and platform health assessments.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise financial or procurement platforms, with strong hands-on Coupa experience
  • Proven experience leading Coupa administration, configuration, integrations, and production support in a global environment.
  • Strong experience with API-based integrations and event-driven architectures (Kafka preferred)
  • Solid understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Invoice-to-Pay (I2P) processes.
  • Experience supporting or integrating with Oracle Fusion Financial applications
  • Hands-on experience managing support operations via ServiceNow
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Coupa at scale (large transaction volumes, multi-region deployments).
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, consumer products, or global supply chain environments.
  • Familiarity with middleware platforms and integration monitoring tools.
  • Experience with audit, SOX controls, and financial compliance processes.
  • Background in DevOps, automation, and operational excellence practices.
