About the Job:
The Associate Manager, Consolidations role is responsible for the overall periodic and quarterly consolidations of the operating results for the KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Habit and YUM Corp Divisions, including all EXT topside entries and equity analyses. In this role you will provide endless opportunities across the global Yum! business: serves as a subject matter expert on various critical system processes, supports period-end and quarterly reporting, working directly with the Yum! market teams and shared service centers (SSC’s), and requires collaboration with brand Control, External Reporting and IT teams. The Associate Manager, Consolidations, will report to the Consolidations Manager and have 1 direct report.
You will be required to attend the Louisville, KY office three days per week (Tuesday - Thursday).
Salary Range:
$110,500- $125,000 + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
Responsibilities:
Period and Quarterly Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain EXT topsides during each close, manages topside listing to determine need for reinstatement and/or ensure proper pushdown of entries in coordination with brands
Complete equity model each period, including reconciliations for various equity accounts
Prepare AOCI and equity footnotes for SEC disclosures each quarter
Complete equity-related HFM dataforms and assist SSC’s as needed
Committed to extended workday hours and assisting other team members during financial close, other tight deadlines or crisis situations
Provide thought leadership around system updates, brand initiatives and various consolidations process controls to pro-actively resolve potential issues and ensure a smooth close process each quarter
Ongoing/Other Responsibilities:
Provide coaching support and oversight to direct report
Serve as resource to brands, SSC’s and IT team for various system related questions and issues (e.g. topside push-downs, ad-hoc requests, out-of-balance issues, Process Control status, etc.) in order to maintain timely reporting
Responsible for various annual requirements including compilation of KPMG audit fees and completion of R&D Survey
Partner with brands, SSC’s and IT teams to ensure year-end GL/FA roll is complete by P1
Perform SOX compliance duties, including support of internal audit and external audit efforts
Provide ongoing support for YUM and Brand initiatives and ad hoc requests
Assists with various special projects, including financial analysis as needed
Minimum Requirements:
B.S in Accounting or B.S. in Finance if candidate has significant accounting experience
5+ years of public or private industry accounting experience
Strong Microsoft Excel experience and computer literacy skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), FCCS and JD Edwards
