Job Description

About the position

  • Lead Oral Sema Launch and Brand Strategy
  • Develop launch strategy, business plans, and annual operating plans for Oral Semaglutide.
  • Lead product positioning, value proposition development, and customer segmentation.
  • Monitor business performance and adapt strategic priorities to ensure target achievement.
  • Continuously evaluate market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with Medical, MAPA, and Commercial teams to maximize launch success.

Drive Omnichannel Customer Engagement

  • Design and execute integrated customer journeys across field force, digital, remote engagement, social platforms, and events.
  • Optimize channel mix and resource allocation to improve customer reach and engagement effectiveness.
  • Leverage customer data, analytics, and personalization approaches to enhance customer experience.
  • Partner with Omnichannel and Digital teams to implement innovative engagement models.
  • Accelerate Market Development and Demand Generation
  • Develop market-shaping initiatives to increase awareness and adoption of Oral Semaglutide.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to promote early diagnosis and treatment optimization.
  • Support patient engagement and education programs to improve patient activation and adherence.
  • Identify emerging opportunities and innovative business models that accelerate growth.

Generate Consumer and Customer Insights

  • Gather and analyze customer, patient, market, and competitor insights.
  • Conduct performance tracking and ROI assessments for key marketing activities.
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations for strategic and tactical decisions.
  • Lead Cross-functional Collaboration and Organizational Excellence
  • Lead and influence cross-functional teams to ensure execution excellence.
  • Effectively engage external agencies and strategic partners that drives high-quality partnership and business value.
  • Develop team capabilities and foster a high-performance culture.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation across marketing processes.

Budgeting and ROI Management

  • Lead annual business planning, budget development, and financial management across marketing initiatives.
  • Track and optimize marketing investments through rigorous ROI analysis and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure effective resource allocation to maximize business impact and sustainable growth.

Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical, FMCG, consumer healthcare, retail, digital platforms, or other customer-centric industries, with a strong track record in marketing, commercialization, and business growth.
  • Proven experience in product launches, brand strategy development, commercialization, and market development, with demonstrated success in customer acquisition, consumer engagement, and category growth.
  • Strong expertise in leading integrated marketing initiatives across online and offline channels, leveraging customer insights, analytics, and omnichannel engagement strategies to drive business performance and enhance customer experience.
  • Experience managing complex product launches or high-growth brands in dynamic market environments. Exposure to digital transformation, CRM, loyalty programs, customer journey optimization, and other customer engagement capabilities is highly desirable.
  • Experience in obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular, metabolic diseases, specialty care, or related therapeutic areas is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of people leadership and/or matrix leadership experience, with a proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive execution in a complex organization.

  • Enterprise Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration, demonstrates strong enterprise leadership, influencing diverse stakeholders and fostering cross-functional collaboration to deliver shared business objectives.
