Advertised Job Summary
The Associate Dean for Organizational Climate and Well-Being is a senior leader within the medical school responsible for advancing a thriving, inclusive, and high-performing academic community. This role provides strategic leadership for initiatives that strengthen institutional culture, workforce engagement, accessibility, and professional fulfillment across the medical school.
Serving concurrently as Executive Director for Institutional Climate and Culture, the Associate Dean provides counsel on organizational dynamics affecting faculty, staff, and learners, and guides efforts that promote a positive organizational culture, belonging, and excellence across the institution.
The Associate Dean for Organizational Climate and Well-Being and oversees strategic initiatives aligned with the office's core pillars: Institutional Climate and Culture; Compliance, Accessibility, & Organizational Fairness; Well-Being; Engagement; and Leadership, Team, and Professional Development and Training. Working collaboratively with departments, programs, and institutional partners, the Assistant Dean helps ensure that the medical school fosters an environment where all members of the community can thrive and contribute fully to the missions of education, research, clinical care, and service.
