Job Description

  • Monitor enterprise systems, networks, and applications using SCOM, Nagios, SolarWinds, and related monitoring tools.
  • Execute and monitor production job schedules using CA Scheduler, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Respond to alerts and incidents, perform initial triage, and escalate according to defined procedures.
  • Analyze and document recurring issues to support root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
  • Perform system health checks, capacity monitoring, and routine operational tasks.
  • Support implementation of automation and process enhancements to improve efficiency.
  • Assist in disaster recovery (DR) testing and maintenance activities.
  • Adhere to established procedures, security standards, and service level requirements (SLRs).

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience: 1+ years in IT operations, NOC support, or system monitoring roles.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with CA Scheduler, SCOM, QMM, Nagios, SolarWinds; knowledge of production control processes, incident management, and system monitoring.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; ability to work under pressure in a 24x7 environment; solid communication and teamwork abilities.
