Responsibilities :
Effectuer des rondes régulières sur les lignes de production pour s'assurer du bon déroulement des opérations et de la conformité des produits.
Participer à la planification quotidienne et à la répartition des tâches en fonction des priorités de l'équipe.
Surveiller l'état des équipements, détecter les anomalies et communiquer rapidement avec le service de maintenance.
Assurer la supervision et la continuité des opérations en l'absence du chef d'équipe.
Veiller à l'application des procédures de fabrication, des règles de santé et de sécurité, ainsi que des clauses pertinentes de la convention collective.
Signaler tout manquement, incident, absence ou problème disciplinaire au contremaître.
Participer activement à la formation, à l'accompagnement et à l'intégration des nouveaux employés.
Contribuer au maintien d'un climat de travail positif et mobiliser les équipes.
Participer aux réunions de production et transmettre les informations essentielles aux chefs d'équipe.
Proposer et soutenir des initiatives d'amélioration continue.
Exigences:
Under the supervision of the production foreman, the assistant foreman participates in the planning, coordination and monitoring of shift operations. He/she ensures that quality, safety and productivity standards are met, while providing constant support to the teams on the floor. As a relay between production, supervision and other departments, he/she actively contributes to the continuity and efficiency of operations in the context of a unionized plant. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, mobilized and ready to take on more responsibility.
