
The Department of Physician Assistant Studies in the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine accepts applications for a full-time, twelve-month, non-tenure track Assistant/Associate Professor faculty position.
The UT Health Science Center’s Physician Assistant Program admitted the first class in 2014, and to date, the program has a >95% graduation rate and first-time PANCE pass rate.
EDUCATION: Master’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years of clinical experience with a history of precepting PA students or other medical trainees, or one (1) year of clinical experience with additional training in teaching, education, or involvement in an academic medical training program (PA, MD, DO). Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
LICENSES: Current NCCPA Certification. Eligibility for Tennessee Physician Assistant State Licensure.
