Texas A&M University–Texarkana invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Educational Leadership. The successful candidate will serve as core faculty in the Doctor of Education (EdD) in Educational Leadership.
This position supports doctoral teaching, mentorship, and applied research within a Doctorate of Practice model. The EdD emphasizes systematic inquiry, evidence-based leadership, and organizational improvement across various educational contexts. The program is delivered fully online and includes required synchronous engagement on designated evenings.
The standard teaching load is 3/3. Faculty are expected to maintain an active research agenda with peer-reviewed scholarship consistent with tenure and promotion guidelines and aligned with the university’s research priorities. The position includes doctoral mentorship, service to the division and university, and participation in continuous program development.
Although remote work is authorized for this position, applicants must be able to periodically attend meetings and other initiatives on campus with prior notice.
Eligibility to work in the U.S. is required at the time of hire. No pre-employment sponsorship is authorized for this position.
This position generally does not supervise employees.
