Full-time | Logistics | Location – Olathe, KS
Provides direction, leadership, and management for Elizabethtown Distribution center, including creation and execution of operational processes to meet business objectives and goals. Collaborating with leaders across the organization to meet distribution and customer expectations.
You’ll deliver short and long-term projects that support the business strategy. This will involve:
• Oversee performance data and ensure adherence to policies and procedures related to receiving, packaging, and shipping.
• Ensure productivity and quality standards are met.
• Determines work procedures, prepares and expedites workflow, assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
• Make staffing and task assignments to support workflow and productivity.
• Monitor operational flow to identify and address bottlenecks or issues.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all inbound and outbound activities.
We’re looking for someone who can come up with simple solutions to complex problems. To join us, you need:
• A minimum of 2 years of work experience in distribution, performing a substantially similar role
• A minimum of 3 years of work experience in supervising, selecting, coaching, mentoring, and training staff
• Proficiency in Excel, including the ability to create and manage complex data files.
• Familiarity with Korber or similar warehouse management systems is a plus, but not required.
• Experience and/or training in identifying, developing, and reporting operations/distribution-related metrics
• Skilled at using data to drive team performance and accountability.
• Background in cost improvement initiatives and process optimization.
• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent form two-year college or technical school (Preferred)
• Experience with 5S principles and workplace organization strategies. (Preferred)
• Demonstrates the ability to lead, motivate, and engage teams effectively.
