Role Purpose

The role is responsible to manage Bi-Modal projects for Sales24 Originations and drive IT-function monthly meeting with business teams and all relevant stakeholders to prioritize the IT projects and provide status of ongoing projects for the business function.

Role Accountability

The Sales24 Bi-Modal Project Manager is ultimately accountable for delivering projects that meet established objectives, on time, and within budget while ensuring quality and compliance with organizational practices. This role necessitates strong leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to balance competing priorities from both IT and business perspectives. By maintaining transparency and fostering collaboration, the Project Manager plays a crucial role in driving business success within the dynamic framework of Bi-Modal IT practices

  1. Define project scope, objectives, and key deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  2. Planning Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets, tailored for Bi-Modal projects that require flexibility.
  3. Execution: Lead cross-functional teams to implement project plans, ensuring that all milestones are met within the defined timelines and budget constraints.
  4. Closure: Conduct post-project evaluations to assess outcomes, document lessons learned, and ensure knowledge transfer.
  5. Manage monthly IT-Business discussions for priority projects
  6. Facilitate Discussions: Organize and lead monthly meetings with IT and business stakeholders to discuss project priorities, progress, challenges, and changes.
  7. Align Priorities- Ensure that IT initiatives are aligned with business goals by fostering collaboration and healthy communication between teams.
  8. Conflict Resolution- Address and mediate any disagreements regarding project priorities, actively seeking solutions that accommodate both IT and business perspectives.
  9. Manage monthly dashboards for Bi-Modal production road map
  10. Ensure system integration changes are implemented within Sales24 Sub systems Ensure monthly production releases and ensuring defect free environment
  11. Ensure adherence to regular process documentation practices in compliance with the process guidelines
  12. Quality Assurance- Maintain a defect-free environment by enforcing rigorous testing and quality control processes throughout the release cycle.
  13. Risk Management- Identify potential risks associated with releases and proactively develop mitigation strategies to address them.
  14. Ensure Compliance with Documentation Practices:
  15. Documentation Standards- Uphold industry best practices and organizational guidelines for process documentation, ensuring that all project-related activities are thoroughly documented.
  16. Regular Reviews-Conduct periodic reviews of documentation practices and improve processes as needed to ensure compliance and consistency.
  17. Training and Guidance- Provide training and support to team members on documentation standards to foster a culture of accountability and thoroughness.

  5. Timely and accurate updation of process documentation

Technical Skills / Experience / Certifications

  1. Knowledge of software development methodologies and structured approaches to system development
  2. Knowledge of systems management and operational support tools, Security and infrastructure experience
  3. Expertise in Java Ecosystem (Java, Spring, Angular JS, Microservices etc.)
  4. Knowledge of Relational Database concept (Oracle DB with medium to high SQL skills)
  5. Good understanding of web/App server setup (Apache, Weblogic etc.)
  6. Exposure on Application Performance management tools (e.g. New Relic) will be an added advantage
  7. Vendor Management
