We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as Assistant Vice President - Technology- Kafka Platform Admin. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping and executing our data management strategies, leveraging your expertise in big data and cloud technologies. Your primary focus will be on leading and managing the global real-time in-platform administration, ensuring optimal data governance, performance, and migration processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive data-driven initiatives and deliver innovative solutions.

• Lead and manage the global real-time in-platform administration, ensuring efficient and secure data management practices.
• Oversee data migrations, governance, and performance optimization, utilizing your expertise in big data platforms and cloud services.
• Drive data-driven innovation by identifying and implementing cutting-edge technologies and strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align on data-related projects and ensure successful delivery.
• Mentor and guide a team of data professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

• Strong technical expertise in big data platforms such as Cloudera/Hadoop, Spark, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency in data management tools and programming languages, including Python, SQL, Kafka, and Airflow.
• Proven experience in leading and managing data-related projects, with a track record of successful deliveries.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team of data professionals.
• Deep understanding of data governance, data migrations, and performance optimization techniques.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and innovative thinking.
• Experience in the financial services industry is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role within the data management or technology domain.
