
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end engineering delivery for digital corporate banking platforms, ensuring predictable execution, technical quality, and release readiness.
• Manage in-house and external engineering teams, providing technical guidance, delivery governance, coaching, and performance oversight.
• Drive solution design and implementation across Digital Corporate Banking, Corporate Banker Portal, Lending, Deposit, Transaction Banking, and related integration flows.
• Partner with product owners, business, operations, risk, compliance, architecture, QA/QC, infrastructure, security, and vendors to deliver business-aligned solutions.
• Ensure scalable, secure, reliable, and maintainable architecture covering APIs, core banking integration, data flows, workflow controls, and non-functional requirements.
• Oversee sprint planning, estimation, technical design, code review, defect triage, UAT support, deployment planning, and post-implementation stabilization.
• Promote engineering best practices including SDLC governance, DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing, source control, configuration management, and change control.
• Manage technical risks, production issues, performance, resilience, observability, information security, data privacy, audit, and regulatory technology controls.
• Continuously improve delivery productivity, platform stability, engineering standards, documentation, reusable components, and team capability.
Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• 8-10 years' experience in software development, engineering delivery, or technology management in Banking or Digital Business.
• At least 3 years' hands-on experience working with Corporate Banking products such as Digital Corporate Banking, Corporate Banker Portal, Lending, Deposit, or Transaction Banking.
• Familiar with at least one Core Banking solution and its integration with digital channels, lending, deposit, payment, customer, and transaction systems.
• Strong software engineering background in backend, frontend, APIs, microservices, databases, integration patterns, cloud/on-premise platforms, and secure coding practices.
• Experience managing engineering teams, vendors, delivery plans, technical dependencies, code quality, release readiness, and production stabilization.
• Good knowledge of Agile delivery, SDLC, DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing, configuration management, change management, and incident/problem management.
• Strong understanding of corporate banking processes, maker-checker controls, approval workflows, limits, fees, statements, lending, deposits, and transaction banking operations.
• Good stakeholder management, analytical thinking, communication, problem-solving, documentation, and decision-making skills in a regulated banking environment.
