• You will be responsible for end-to-end disaster recovery activities, including failover, fallback, and recovery coordination across multiple platforms, ensuring operational resilience and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• The role involves leading application deployments, releases, patch implementations, and production changes while maintaining up-to-date documentation and supporting post-implementation reviews.
• You will act as the technical focal point for production support, troubleshooting complex incidents, managing certificate lifecycles, administering operational tools such as CyberArk and JP1, and supporting governance, risk, and regulatory compliance initiatives.

What you'll do

As a Senior Production Specialist Disaster Recovery based in Malaysia you will be entrusted with overseeing disaster recovery operations for a wide range of applications. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve orchestrating failover fallback recovery exercises coordinating with various teams to ensure smooth execution. You will maintain comprehensive recovery procedures conduct regular tests update deployment runbooks provide guidance during actual recovery events. In addition you will lead application deployments releases patch implementations production changes verify successful rollouts perform health checks validate post-implementation outcomes. Acting as the technical focal point you will troubleshoot complex incidents analyse system behaviour manage certificate lifecycles administer operational tools like CyberArk JP1 support privileged credential onboarding batch scheduling job execution monitoring. You will also drive project delivery efforts review technical solution designs deployment approaches recovery plans operational support models provide hands-on expertise during migrations upgrades stabilisation periods. Finally you will support governance risk regulatory compliance initiatives prepare management reports dashboards respond to audit observations track remediation activities ensuring that all technology operations adhere to organisational standards.

• Act as the primary owner for all application-related disaster recovery activities across the organisation’s application portfolio by coordinating with infrastructure, database, network, and vendor teams for seamless recovery execution.
• Lead failover, fallback, and recovery operations during disaster recovery exercises and actual events while supporting validation processes and post-recovery assessments.
• Maintain, review, and test application recovery procedures regularly to ensure deployment runbooks and operational documentation are current and effective.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute application deployments, releases, patch implementations, and production changes across supported environments while performing deployment verification and health checks.
• Lead production cutover events including deployment validation, rollback execution, and recovery activities during implementation phases by collaborating with application owners and regional stakeholders.
• Act as the technical focal point for application-level production support by troubleshooting issues related to middleware integration and analysing logs to restore service availability.
• Manage certificate lifecycle activities such as renewal, replacement, installation, validation for application systems including APIs and payment gateways to ensure continuous service availability.
• Administer operational platforms like CyberArk and JP1 by supporting privileged credential onboarding, password rotation validation, batch scheduling, job execution monitoring, troubleshooting activities.
• Lead project delivery efforts including application migration, platform upgrades, infrastructure changes by reviewing technical implementation procedures and providing hands-on support during production cutovers.
• Support regulatory audit responses by preparing management reporting dashboards while ensuring compliance with policies procedures operational controls applicable regulatory requirements.
