
Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme (“MRC”) for Hong Kong
The Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme is a framework to facilitate Authorized Institutions (“AIs”) to bilaterally obtain reference information during their recruitment process for certain positions, such that misconduct information in an individual’s previous employments can be provided to AIs to inform their employment decisions.

Job Responsibilities:
Assist team lead to supervise the document vetting work of the bilateral facility, structured finance and the syndicated loan transactions, ensuring the team completed the job within service pledge, all terms and conditions as well as security arrangements are properly structured according to the credit approval and the bank’s policy requirements
Assist team lead to establish and ensure adherence to departmental guidelines and compliance of the Bank’s policy
Assist team lead to provide key operational risk capabilities in terms of identification of control and process gaps and mitigation, incidents management and resolution, define Key Performance Indicators to track performance and monitor Key Risks Indicators
Report all process deviations to supervisor with recommendations to the process gaps, incidents and enhancements with a strong emphasis on controls, efficiency, capacity planning, best practice, process alignment and regulatory targets
Manage / participate in projects on development of new products, automation / enhancement of related systems and enhance customer experience
Prepare and maintain regular operations and MIS reports
Provide coaching and training to junior staff
Handle ad-hoc matters and tasks assigned by supervisor from time to time
