Job Description

Business Product Management

  • Develop and implement product plans based on customer needs, market trends and competitive developments.
  • Understand the regulatory environment in the region and analyse impact to Treasury activities including existing and new products.
  • Develop and maintain the 1-3 year product roadmap, including new product priorities, target segments, product capabilities and P&L projections, and coordinate required local and Group approvals.
  • Support Coverage/Sales on client solutions where product expertise is required.
  • Monitor product revenue, profitability and performance, including forecasting and management reporting.
  • Engage with internal technology subject matter experts and researches product-related trends in order to provide an integrated and automated client experience.
  • Translate business goals into a competitive Deposit/ CASA product roadmap to align with market growth and acquisition by designing and launching corporate deposit packages (CASA, term deposits, flexible deposits).
  • Monitor product performance: deposit volume, funding cost, and profitability.
  • Work closely with Operations to design scalable and efficient operating models and service delivery processes.
  • Collaborate with Risk, Compliance and Legal teams to ensure products remain compliant with regulatory and governance requirements.
  • Lead product papers and required approvals, define business requirements, and lead business-side UAT and implementation readiness in partnership with D&T and Operations.
  • Evaluate product performance, customer experience and operational efficiency and recommend improvements.
  • Establish and maintain product policies, procedures and controls.
  • Drive automation and digitization initiatives that improve customer experience and operational effectiveness.
  • Develop product strategies aligned with Treasury business priorities and support revenue growth through product innovation and enhancement.
  • Develop business cases and evaluate the commercial viability of new products and product enhancements.
  • Develop product strategies that support Treasury’s business objectives and identify new product opportunities in line with the approved Treasury roadmap.
  • Create and ensure the governance and control infrastructure in partnership with control functions
  • Provide product forecasts and performance inputs into the annual planning and budgeting process.
  • Serve as Treasury's subject matter expert on product capabilities, market practices and regulatory developments.

Communications

  • Ensure all staff adheres to do client suitability to in accordance with internal and external policy;
  • Maintaining relationships with other parts of Treasury and FIG and the wider Group Wholesale to ensure adequate profile and development of the unit.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensures compliance with local regulatory requirements and external auditors, in pursuant to both Law on Enterprises and Law on Credit Insitutions and related legal documents .
  • Conduct all activities ethically in accordance with Policies and Procedures approved by the Management and the State Bank of Vietnam regulations

Any other responsibilities / task as assigned by senior management from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Financial Engineering, Technology or related discipline.
  • Master's degree and/or professional banking qualifications would be an advantage
  • 10+ years of banking experience in Treasury, Transaction Banking, Cash Management, Trade Finance, Product Management, Payments, Corporate Banking or Fintech.
  • Proven experience in product development, commercialization, implementation and lifecycle management.
  • Experience working with Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance and Legal stakeholders on product initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of Treasury products, cash management, payment solutions, liquidity management and corporate banking services.

Technical / Functional Skills

  • Strong understanding of Treasury, Transaction Banking, FI and Corporate Banking products.
  • Proven product management capability, including product design, business case development, pricing and commercialization.
  • Strong knowledge of local banking regulations, governance requirements and risk management principles.
  • Experience leading digital transformation and process automation initiatives.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions and manage implementation delivery.
  • Strong financial analysis, profitability assessment and business planning skills.
  • Strong understanding of customer journeys, operating models and service delivery frameworks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
