We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President, Business Management.

In this role, you will:

  • Responsible for end-to-end resource management for assigned sector/function(s), including interlock with senior managers within the organization, assessing the ask and taking it through formal hiring governance considering affordability.
  • Independently manage work-force-plan in Anaplan in discussion with stakeholders to run accurate monthly re-forecasting process, which in turn drives direct cost impact. Collaborative effectively with the broader Business Management team.
  • Provide strategic / critical inputs to re-org designs and support with implementation of the same. Oversee to ensure resource information in systems are accurate all the time. Responsible to analyze data create MI and Dashboards and capture in exec summary suitable for senior stakeholders to take informed decisions.
  • Act as a backup for the wider Business Management team. Provide critical inputs / initiatives to develop and improve key processes by simplifying, integrating, automating where practical. Independently create financial packs/analysis as needed from time to time, including business profit and loss.
  • Provide support in managing external service providers and vendors. Inputs to and oversight of the Finance resource planning process, managing it on an ongoing basis. Responsible to independently monitor Profit and loss and challenge cost management. Responsible for undertaking competitive analysis.
  • Must be a strong communicator both verbal and written with a comprehensive understanding of content and context. Displays good presentation skills and can tailor communication methods for the audience, environment and setting. Ability to summarize large data set into meaningful innovative representations. Is an active listener and displays good inter-personal and communication skills.
  • Able to work with individuals at all levels, ability to build and maintain highly effective working relationships with colleagues, clients and third parties. Good team player and demonstrates good organizational skills. Shows good planning & time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strategic mind-set, with strong conceptual, creative and analytical content. Strong problem-solving skills and able to perform under pressure. Displays good negotiation and influencing skills and can use these skills appropriately.

To be successful, you will:

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills and Attention to detail. Excellent Excel and Powerpoint skills, comfortable working with large spreadsheets.
  • Financial oversight and financial reporting. Ability to summarize large data set for leadership consumption.
  • Vendor management, Business case development, Resource planning & management, Self-starter, Stakeholder management.
  • Professional accounting / finance / management qualification – desirable.
  • Prior experience in Business Management for a global function – highly desirable.
  • Budget and cost management experience. Demonstrated experience in analysis roles, preferably in business management / Financial planning and analysis.
  • Experience of working in a large organization, preferably financial services.
  • Exposed to working in cross-geography / cross-functional set up.
