We are seeking a highly motivated candidate for the position of Business or System Analyst to serve Cash Management within Information Technology Department under Asian Systems Office (ASO).

The successful candidate will be part of a growing dynamic regional team that in charge of the Transaction Banking applications (channel and payment processors). For this role, the focus will be on cash management for corporate customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with the product and operations teams as owners to business or operational requirements to analyse and translate these requirements into technical solutions for FX, payment, collection, liquidity, channel and reporting products.
  • Collaborate with the product and operations teams to define the to-be processes and target system functional landscape that promote digitization and standardization of product and service offerings to our customers.
  • Provide the business and operations with global / regional solutions based on the understanding of the cash management domain and the evolution of application landscape.
  • Drive requirements analysis and solutions design with 3rd party vendors or in-house system teams, ensuring user requirements are designed properly, system functionalities are aligned with industry norms and standards, and impacts to existing systems are assessed comprehensively.
  • Document and review the conceptual design and detailed design of the solution (including GUI, message mapping, payment workflows, payment control, exception handling, etc).
  • Liaise with the enterprise architect, solution architect and application team to come up with the solution design.
  • Provide inputs to the Testing Centre of Excellence (TCoE) on the design of functional and interface test, as stand-alone system or end-to-end system flows.
  • Participate and drive production incident management, to assess customer impacts and support recovery.
  • Participate and drive production problem management, to recommend permanent fixes either in payment systems or upstream systems.
  • Maintain up to date system documentation based on projects releases, maintenance and bugfix activities.

Job Requirements:

  • At least 8 Years of experience as a business analyst specializing in implementation of cash management solutions in APAC for the transaction banking business.
  • Experience in domestic and cross-border payments schemes, as well as clearing and settlement mechanisms in APAC region.
  • Experience as a business analyst role in regional / global system implementation for cash management solutions and been part of full project lifecycle, from inception to post-production support.
  • Experienced in working with the product and operations stakeholders, application teams, architects to come up with an integrated solution design.
  • Experience in online and batch-based system architecture. High level of technical competency should be demonstrated for SQL.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Strong planning, organizational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated and possess drive, with ability to work independently and a good team player
