
Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme (“MRC”) for Hong Kong
The Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme is a framework to facilitate Authorized Institutions (“AIs”) to bilaterally obtain reference information during their recruitment process for certain positions, such that misconduct information in an individual’s previous employments can be provided to AIs to inform their employment decisions.

Job Responsibilities:
Oversee and monitor the budget process and propose relevant recommendations to management based on the results to undertake proper financial planning and decision making.
Oversee and monitor budgets and monthly rolling forecasts for the Bank and analyze any material changes in the business or the regulations which may affect the bank’s financials.
Work with BU/SUs in the preparation of their budgets / rolling forecasts / mid-term planning and provide technical support if needed.
Provide analysis of the monthly forecast NIM including gross interest rate and internal interest rate for the Bank and Business Units.
Work with BUs for budget, forecasts, and CNCB business collaboration. Maintain close relationship with parent bank including scorecard setting, etc.
Provide ad hoc financial analysis and management information reports.
Prepare presentations for financial management information and other special projects.
Provide coaching and guidance to subordinates as required and perform ad hoc projects and assignments as required.
Requirements:
Degree holder in Accounting or related disciplines or a qualified accountant.
Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in management and financial reporting in audit or banking industry.
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, bank's accounting policies and procedures
Strong knowledge in governmental, statutory rules and regulations.
·Good knowledge and experience in financial analysis and management reporting.
Experience in building financial models is an advantage.
Membership of professional accounting association / The Hong Kong Association of Banks is preferred.
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
