At Alstom, we build what millions depend on daily - rail transportation systems that can’t afford to fail. We’re more than 80,000 people worldwide creating the industry’s most diverse portfolio: high-speed trains, metros, monorails, trams, services and integrated systems.

More than a job: a mission

We’re looking for an Assistant to the Managing Director to provide high-level administrative, organizational and strategic support, ensuring smooth agenda management, communication flow and priority alignment at executive level.

You’ll work alongside people who show up with ownership, passion and dedication - because they know what’s at stake: connecting cities and enabling greener mobility.

Your role, your impact

• Manage and optimize the Managing Director’s calendar and priorities
• Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and track action items
• Handle communications, including emails, calls and official documents
• Support reporting, presentations and executive documentation
• Organize business travel and manage related expenses
• Coordinate events, visits and stakeholder interactions
• Act as liaison between the MD and internal/external stakeholders
• Anticipate needs and support decision-making with relevant insights
• Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive information
You’ll work with sharp, committed teams across business functions - ensuring effective coordination at executive level and contributing to the success of strategic initiatives.

What you bring

• 2–5 years of experience supporting senior executives
• Degree in Administration, Business, or related field
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
• Excellent communication and professional writing skills
• High level of English (French is a plus)

How success is measured

• Efficiency and accuracy in agenda and communication management
• Timely coordination of meetings, travel and executive activities
• Quality of documentation and stakeholder interactions
• Ability to anticipate needs and support priorities effectively

Alstom, a great place to grow

• Enjoy stability, challenges and a long-term career free from boring daily routines
• Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues
• Contribute to innovative and strategic initiatives
• Utilise our cooperative working environment
• Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries
• Benefit from our investment in your development
• Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package

Here, progress isn’t always easy - the scale is massive, the tasks are complex - but the impact is real. Because when the system runs, the train moves, and the city connects - that feeling stays with you. And the legacy lasts.
