First Shift (United States of America)Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a Clinical-Research Physician to join our Breast Medicine team. What You’ll Do
Clinical Care
• Provide thoughtful, patient-centered breast cancer care within a multidisciplinary team
• Contribute to clinical excellence and innovation in breast oncology
Research & Discovery
• Conduct translational research that bridges laboratory science and patient care
• Participate in and help grow clinical trials
• Pursue grant opportunities to support academic and research interests
• Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals
• Collaborate across teams to strengthen the scientific quality and impact of research
Education & Mentorship
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers
• Support a culture of learning and academic growth
Leadership & Collaboration
• Foster strong partnerships between clinical and laboratory research teams
• Participate in departmental and institutional committees
• Engage in Translational Research Groups and cross-program collaboration
• Build relationships with scientists and clinicians both within Roswell Park and at external institutions

Required Education and Experience
License or Certification Requirement
1. License to practice as a Medical Doctor in the State of New York.
2. Possession of or eligibility for a valid medical specialty certificate in Medical Oncology or a specialty of Hematologic Oncology, Bone Marrow Transplantation, Solid Tumor/Investigational Therapeutics, Pulmonary Medicine, and Infectious Diseases.
Education and Experience
Medical Doctor degree and prior full-time experience in the field of Medical Oncology or a specialty of Hematologic Oncology, Bone Marrow Transplantation, Solid Tumor/Investigational Therapeutics, Pulmonary Medicine, and Infectious Diseases.
NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess proven expertise in clinical care and translational research, with a demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate effectively across interdisciplinary teams. A strong commitment to education, mentorship, and advancing the academic mission, coupled with a robust record of scholarly publications and success in securing grant-funded research, is highly desirable.
