CarePoint Response (CPR) is a nationally recognized nonprofit and Baltimore's only comprehensive behavioral health crisis response system. Since 1992, CPR has provided life-saving services to individuals experiencing mental health and substance use crises through crisis intervention, residential services, detoxification, mobile response, case management, and community-based support programs.

The Opportunity
CPR is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Assistant Building Coordinator to support the daily operations and maintenance of our facilities.
This role works closely with the Building Coordinator to ensure CPR's locations remain safe, organized, functional, and welcoming for staff, clients, and community partners. The Assistant Building Coordinator serves as a key resource for facility requests, vendor coordination, inventory management, and administrative support.

What You'll Do
Facilities Operations
- Assist with daily facility operations across CPR locations.
- Coordinate maintenance requests and track work orders.
- Conduct routine facility inspections and report operational concerns.
- Assist with office moves, furniture setup, and special event preparation.
Vendor & Contractor Coordination
- Schedule and coordinate maintenance vendors and service providers.
- Monitor project completion and vendor performance.
- Maintain records related to inspections, repairs, and warranties.
Inventory & Supply Management
- Track facility supplies and equipment inventory.
- Assist with ordering, receiving, and distributing supplies.
- Coordinate deliveries and maintain organized storage areas.
Administrative Support
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, logs, and facility documentation.
- Maintain records related to maintenance, inspections, and compliance activities.
- Support departmental scheduling and project coordination efforts.
Safety & Customer Service
- Help ensure facilities remain safe, clean, and compliant.
- Respond professionally to facility-related concerns and requests.
- Support emergency preparedness and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate's degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support, facilities coordination, office operations, maintenance support, or a related field preferred.
- Experience working in healthcare, nonprofit, behavioral health, or human services settings preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
