Job Category: Admin - ClericalProvides administrative support to the Adult Ministry at Prestonwood Baptist Church – North Campus (“PBC-NC”).
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative assistance to the Adult ministry to include scheduling appointments, answering telephones, ordering office supplies, and other administrative duties
- Provide administrative support to LifeGroup class leadership for the purpose of scheduling upcoming events, providing outreach information and providing necessary information for attendance and announcements
- Respond to requests and inquiries from ministry leadership, teachers, members, attendees, and prospects
- Track weekly LifeGroup information and maintain accuracy for church-wide reporting
- Submit purchase orders, check requests, and other required financial related items and ensure compliance with PBC policies
- Coordinate with appropriate church staff for the purpose of organizing ministry events
- Assist with composing and creating informational letters, brochures, etc. for the ministry
- Prepare materials for training
- Assist with scheduling baptisms
- Ensure volunteer screening processes are followed
- Other duties as assigned

QualificationsRequirements:
- Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of PBC-NC
- Some college, college degree preferred
- Experience in an administrative role preferred
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work a Monday - Friday schedule
- Ability to work at a desk with a computer screen for extended periods of time, occasionally perform physical activities that require moving one’s whole body, such as walking, stooping, lifting, pushing/pulling a cart, and lifting up to 10 pounds without assistance
