Salary Range $50,000 - $55,000 per academic year. Compensation will be commensurate upon experience and qualifications.
This position is Exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) overtime provisions.
The College of Education at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track Instructor position to begin August 17, 2026 The College of Education, Department of Teaching and Learning, offers programs in professional education and teacher licensure in Inclusive Early Childhood, Elementary, Secondary, and Special Education.We are seeking applicants with an in-depth knowledge of evidence-based practices in Secondary Education and content knowledge of best practices in Secondary Education. An applicant should have a strong interest in inclusion, innovation, and collaborative approaches to teacher education, especially school/university partnerships that leverage technology to enhance access.
This is an ongoing, 9-month position.

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire:
Earned Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Secondary Education, or closely related field is required
Experience teaching in a Secondary Education classroom is required
Expertise in STEM related content area is highly desirable
Knowledge in Instructional Technology is highly desirable
Field supervision experience in undergraduate/graduate secondary education teacher preparation program is highly desirable
Experience leading online instruction is highly desirable
A doctorate (EdD or PhD) in Curriculum and Instruction, Education, or closely related field is highly desirable
