Working closely with the Homeroom Teacher, you will help deliver engaging daily learning experiences, establish consistent classroom routines, and support children's developing independence, self-regulation, attention, and social skills.

We are looking for an educator who is patient, nurturing, proactive, and passionate about creating a positive, inclusive environment where every child feels supported and confident to learn.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Homeroom Teacher in delivering daily programming across Left Brain, Right Brain, Movement, and outdoor learning environments.
  • Actively engage children during circle time, hands-on activities, structured play, and learning stations.

  • Guide children through daily routines, including transitions, meals, personal care, and classroom responsibilities.
  • Reinforce positive behaviour through consistent expectations, gentle redirection, and responsive guidance.
  • Observe and document children's developmental progress, sharing relevant observations with the teaching team.
  • Maintain safe, organized, inclusive, and engaging classroom environments.
  • Collaborate with educators and families to ensure consistent care and support for each child's individual needs.

  • A patient, nurturing, energetic, and adaptable approach to working with young children.
  • Ability to actively supervise and engage with children throughout the day.
