Assistant Teacher

What You'll Do

As an Assistant Teacher, you will work alongside experienced teachers and center leadership to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and grow.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Partner with classroom teachers to create a welcoming and engaging learning environment.
• Support the development of infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children through age-appropriate activities and interactions.
• Help implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® while responding to the individual needs and interests of each child.
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and positive classroom where every child feels supported and valued.
• Encourage curiosity, creativity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
• Communicate with families about their child's daily experiences, accomplishments, and milestones through mobile apps and personal conversations.
• Assist with classroom routines, activities, meals, transitions, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
• Work collaboratively with center staff and leadership to support the overall success of the center.
• Create a fun, energetic environment where learning happens naturally through play and exploration.

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Early Childhood Education (ECE) coursework or experience is preferred.
• Must meet all state-specific requirements for the position.
• A genuine passion for working with young children.
• Patient, dependable, caring, and positive attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Assistant Teacher Pay Range: $16–$19 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.

Compensation: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
