Teacher Assistant - School Age and Childcare Programs

Pay: $14.00-$15.50/hr
Horizon Education Centers East Lorain location is seeking a caring and dependable Teacher Assistant to support our School Age and Toddler Programs. In this role, you'll help create a safe, engaging learning environment while working alongside experienced educators to support children's growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily activities and lesson plans
- Supervise and engage children in a safe, positive environment
- Support classroom management and meal service
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff
- Maintain records and classroom organization
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Childcare experience required
- Dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented
- Genuine passion for working with children
- Ability to pass background checks and lift up to 40 lbs.
