Job Description

SALARY: Starting Pay $16.00 to $18.00 per hour

ALL FULL TIME POSITIONS: In addition to your pay, your salary also includes Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance. The Biweekly deduction from employee paycheck is $40.00 for Employee Only, $95.00 Employee plus Children, $120.00 Employee plus Spouse, $140.00 Employee plus family.

CPN Child Care employees will be assigned to care for Indian Children and will require a criminal history background screening. In addition, all applicants will be subject to a Child Welfare Background Check as well.

• Works under the on-site supervision of a qualified teacher who is available at all times.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assist in teaching the children in the classroom
• Being on time and present each day as scheduled to work
• Spends quality time in the classroom

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform other duties and projects as required by management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION

• Must have one of the following:

1. High School diploma or GED equivalent2. Be currently enrolled in High School

• Must pass an OSBI background check
• Must have CPR and First Aid certification
• Must have a genuine love and concern for children
• Must be creative and have an aptitude for teaching and promoting child development
• Ability to stay calm in emergency situations
• Must have an even temperament

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Sitting or standing or walking for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking hearing, and visual acuity
• May require occasional lifting up to 50 lbs

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Child care environment
• Outside environment (hot weather and cold weather)
