$18.78 per hour; 40 hour per week

Full-Time, Union position

Assist the teacher in providing a safe learning environment and implementing planned classroom activities to provide an educationally sound experience, which meets the individual needs of the children. Responsible to ensure children’s outcomes leading to children’s school readiness.

• Assist Teacher in planning activities and lesson plans that support individual children’s learning outcomes.
• Carries out educational activities and lessons plans
• Supervises designed group or individual children as needed
• Assists in the documentation of attendance of children
• Supports parent involvement and engagement throughout ECD.
• Other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School/GED
• Early Childhood experience
• Credits in ECE or enrolled in an Associate Program preferred
