Responsibilities:
· Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment· Create and implement fun and engaging plans with the guidance of the Program Coordinator· Support each child’s social and emotional development and provide positive guidance Establish an effective classroom, responsive to each child’s needs· Adhere to all EEC regulations and Goddard School policies and procedures
General Qualifications and Skills:
· The ability to understand and support the education program using a “learning through play” philosophy· The ability to interact closely with children at their level· The ability to keep children within sight and sound supervision at all times· The ability to change children’s diapers and/or assist in toileting (where necessary)· EEC Certification preferred (or we will help you get it)· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work as part of a team and take directions
· Ability to multi-task
· Candidate must be flexible and able to respond to change as needed
· Candidate must be passionate about working with children and bringing a positive attitude each and every day!
Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
