Helps to care for children and infants, from six weeks to eight years, and provides for their physical, emotional, and educational needs, and in maintaining a safe, clean environment.
REQUIRED:1. One (1) year experience in a structured program with children or a certification in Early Childhood Care and Education. 2. Demonstrated knowledge of child development/management techniques, appropriate activities for children and related care regulations. Must be willing to obtain additional training on a regular basis. 3. Must be energetic, and an interest in and enjoyment of children. 4. Must possess good written and oral communication skills. 5. Must be certified in CPR and First Aid. PREFERRED:1. College courses or vocational school training in early childhood education.
