The Goddard School® of Hummelstown is seeking a motivated, caring, and dependable Part-Time Assistant Teacher to join our warm and welcoming team. This position is ideal for someone who loves working with young children and is looking for consistent afternoon hours in a nurturing, professional environment.

At our School, we put our teachers first—because they put our students first. You’ll support our Lead Teachers in creating engaging experiences, maintaining a safe and joyful classroom, and ensuring a smooth transition during the closing hours of the day.

What You’ll Do:

• Support the Lead Teacher with daily activities and routines in the classroom
• Engage children in meaningful play and learning experiences during the afternoon hours
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
• Foster positive, nurturing relationships with children and families
• Ensure health, safety, and licensing standards are consistently met
• Contribute to a calm, happy end-of-day experience for children and families

What We’re Looking For:

• A high school diploma required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field) is a plus
• Experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred
• A warm, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed and meet all state background and health requirements
