Position Scope:

This position is for Assistant Tank Integrity Coordinator at the Riverdale Mill in Selma Alabama. The Assistant Tank Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability of our fixed assets such as; storage tanks, pressure vessels, and relief valves at the direction of our Facility Tank Integrity Coordinator.

The Job You Will Perform:

The Assistant Tank Integrity Coordinator will assist with managing, coordinating, and supervising the tank inspection process as defined by Company and applicable Government guidelines.

The Assistant Tank Integrity Coordinator will be responsible for completing, but not limited to, the following tasks:

  • Conduct yourself as a Safety Leader where Safety is Above All Else
  • Adhere to all Company Safety and Environmental guidelines when conducting testing and inspections on assets
  • Support all areas of the mill where these fixed assets are in place
  • Fulfill the duties of an International Paper Contractor Coordinator, IPCC, where Safety Expectations and defined work scope are measured and achieved with our Contracted Service Providers
  • Support the coordination of inspection tasks with operations to ensure there are no conflicts with operating schedules
  • Interpret and review testing plans and procedures proposed by vendors align with the specification outlined by Company or as defined by any applicable API standard
  • Review all testing reports and assist in developing any short- or long-term plans to mitigate any findings
  • Assist in defining, developing, and executing any repair scopes
  • Must be willing to support a 24/7 operation where and when as needed

The Skills You Will Bring:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in NDT Testing Disciplines

  • A minimum of five (5) years of industrial manufacturing experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering or (10) years of applicable experience in NDT testing background

  • A demonstrated record of safety commitment and results

  • Instill safety as a core value within the team and effectively communicate a shared vision for safety

  • Quickly develop thorough knowledge of mill equipment and systems

  • Utilize excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with groups and individuals at all levels
