Our mission aims to cultivate respect and appreciation for swimming & aquatic sports with an emphasis on the growth of each individual and their athletic development. Our athletes experience emotional satisfaction, a strong sense of community, and inevitable competitive success. We are rebuilding the club after the Palisades fire in January 2025, and intend to be a community hub for families to reconnect through swimming.
Age Group CoachThis position is based in Pacific Palisades, CA, and reports to the Head Coach. You will be the day-to-day coach for selected groups and will assist as needed for other groups. You will be expected to attend meets as they occur for your groups, which is typically once a month in the Greater Los Angeles area. You will also be the primary liaison for parents of your swimmers.
You should have a practical understanding of transformational coaching and demonstrate core personal values on deck. Collaboration and positive communication are required to create a safe space for student athletes and provide support for them to become the swimmer that they want to be.
You will assist with season planning & performance development of multiple groups. You will attend staff meetings on a monthly basis and contribute to discussions about program development, technique, and swimmer promotions. You will be an integral member of a coaching staff that works closely together to ensure that each swimmer has a steady and achievable direction through our program.

Salary
This is a part-time, hourly position starting at $25/hour.
