Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our Berlin team.

You will also become an important voice of SNS within the local community in BerlinAs Assistant Store Manager your job is to assist and support the City Operations Manager in leading a team of ambitious sneakers and fashion enthusiasts. This includes the responsibility to lead, develop and streamline the daily operations together with the City Operations Manager.

Main responsibilities

• Driving sales in the store, selling actively by yourself and coaching the team in sales and excellent customer service.
• Support the City Operations Manager in the daily operations of the store such as staff scheduling, team communication, shipping, and deliveries, overall maintenance of the store, bills and invoicing, etc.
• Responsible for opening and closing of the store and ensuring that the cash/closing reporting is accurate.
• Follow up and analyze sales figures and KPIs, plan and ensure the shop floor is optimized.
• Create a safe and engaging work environment, see to that health and safety standards are adhered to in the store, and manage eventual external staff including security.
• Ensure the store is merchandised and stocked properly and that the visual appearance of the store is in line with SNS standards.
• Support the marketing department and with promotional events, and local activations when needed.

Skill requirements and soft skills

• At least 5 years of experience within retail.
• Management experience preferred.
• Ability to work effectively without supervision.
• Excellent knowledge of sneakers, streetwear, and current trends.
• A driven, initiative-taking problem solver.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Flexible and adaptive to rapid changes.
