We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our Bayswater Store in a Permanent Full Time position.

The Bayswater opening hours are Monday to Friday (NO nights)

As the Assistant Store Manager you will:

  • Customer service and processing sales

  • Tinting and mixing of paint

  • Working with the team to achieve store targets

  • Being customer focused by providing an exceptional customer service

  • You will also perform regular stock takes, stock replenishment, unpacking and storing or inward goods

  • Using Pallet jacks , walkie stackers and other devices to assist with manual handling

  • Support Store Manager with admin related tasks and other duties as required

In order to be considered you will have:

  • 3-5 years previous retail experience

  • Looking for the chance to move into a leadership role- Training provided

  • Proven experience in meeting and exceeding sales and KPI goals

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Sound computer skills: MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach

  • Great time management and the ability to prioritize and multi-task

We are looking for a team player looking to develop their retail career into a leadership role in a company that offers development and growth to its employees. Knowledge of the paint industry couldn’t hurt either, however, being comfortable with manual handling and working in a trade environment is a must.
