About the Role
As an Assistant Store Leader, you’ll help run the operations of our retail store. You’ll support the Store Leader in driving sales, managing donations, and creating a welcoming shopping experience. This role is all about leading by example, keeping the store organized, and motivating your team to succeed.
What You’ll Do
• Partner with the Store Leader to meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals.
• Oversee donation processing—sorting, pricing, recycling, and stocking.
• Keep shelves full, organized, and displays eye-catching to boost sales.
• Provide outstanding customer service to both shoppers and donors.
• Handle scheduling, hiring, training, and coaching team members.
• Protect company assets by monitoring and preventing losses.
• Balance registers, prepare deposits, and ensure cashier accuracy.
• Maintain a safe, positive workplace for employees and customers.
Education & Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of retail experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in resale, production, or operations management is a plus.

• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Comfort with math and operating a cash register.

• Typical retail store setting with moderate noise.
• Fast-paced, hands-on environment where teamwork is key.
Physical Abilities
• Able to stand, walk, bend, push, and reach for extended periods.
• Regularly lift and carry up to 30 pounds (with occasional heavier lifting).
• Good hand-eye coordination to operate registers and equipment.
• Reliable attendance is essential.
