Assistant Specialist, Strategic Sourcing – JLL

What this job involves:

As an Assistant Specialist, Strategic Sourcing, you will play a critical role in optimizing JLL's managed services operations and sourcing strategies for Integrated Facilities and Property Management clients. You will serve as a key liaison between operations teams, Shared Services, Corporate Legal, and Risk Management, ensuring contractual compliance and driving operational excellence. This position offers the opportunity to lead strategic initiatives, deliver supplier improvements, and directly contribute to client satisfaction through meticulous contract management and process optimization.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Support operations teams with RFP/bid processes, contracting procedures, and operational workflows while proactively managing internal and external customer expectations
  • Create and track Sourcing Requests for contract extensions, renewals, and new service agreements
  • Coordinate between Shared Services, Corporate Legal, and Risk Management to ensure all contractual terms comply with standards and receive formal approval
  • Conduct analysis and generate compliance reports identifying risks and gaps between procurement and work order systems
  • Complete system audits to validate KPI reporting accuracy and data integrity
  • Verify and update compensation rates in Work Order systems to align with service agreements and contractual increases
  • Assist the Sourcing Leader with work priorities, deliverables, and issue resolution to ensure client and customer satisfaction

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field or applicable experience
  • 3+ years of experience in contract management, procurement, or compliance within facilities management or property services

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with JLL systems or similar integrated facilities management platforms
  • Knowledge of legal and risk management review processes for service contracts
  • Familiarity with supplier relationship management and vendor optimization strategies
  • Project management skills with experience leading cross-functional initiatives
  • Understanding of KPI development and performance metrics in facilities management
  • Background in shared services environments or centralized procurement operations
  • Demonstrated knowledge of RFP/bid processes and contract negotiation fundamentals
  • Proficiency with work order management systems and procurement platforms
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in compliance reporting and risk assessment
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to coordinate across legal, operations, and risk management teams
  • Detail-oriented approach with proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
