Join us as an Assistant Spa Manager at our luxurious property, Cap Juluca, A Belmond Hotel, where you'll help shape unforgettable experiences for our guests in a serene and rejuvenating environment. This is an exceptional opportunity for a passionate individual to contribute to the operational excellence and luxurious client experience that defines Cap Juluca Spa by Guerlain. In this role, you will be at the heart of our Spa Team, working closely with the Spa Manager to ensure our guests receive nothing short of exceptional service and care.

As the Assistant Spa Manager, you will take pride in creating a welcoming atmosphere while supporting your team in delivering the highest standards. You will be involved in everything from daily operations to staff training, and your passion for spa wellness and hospitality will shine through every interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ·Assist the Spa Manager in overseeing all aspects of spa operations, including planning & scheduling, inventory management, facility maintenance, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Support the recruitment, training, and supervision of spa therapists, receptionists, and other spa personnel. Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging professional growth and exceptional service.
  • Ensure every guest receives an unforgettable and personalized Guerlain experience, from the moment of arrival to departure. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively, maintaining the highest level of client satisfaction.
  • Embody the values and essence of the Guerlain brand, ensuring all spa offerings and interactions reflect the Guerlain legacy of luxury, elegance, and expertise.
  • Ensure client experience is proficient including bookings, payments, and consultation cards.
  • Assist in Managing to carry out procedures and ensure all treatments comply with current legislation and company standards
  • Assist in driving spa revenue through effective promotion of treatments, products, and masterclasses. Monitor sales performance and contribute to strategic initiatives for growth.
  • Manage retail and professional product inventory, merchandising, and sales, ensuring availability of Guerlain's iconic skincare, fragrance, and makeup lines.
  • Handle various administrative tasks, including report generation, payroll assistance, and general office duties.

Requirements

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum of Five years of experience in spa operations, with at least three years in a supervisory or assistant management role within a luxury spa or hospitality environment.
  • A strong understanding of Guerlain spa treatments, products, and services.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high standards of client satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in spa management software. Workday experience is highly desirable
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A passion for the beauty and wellness industry, with a genuine appreciation for the Guerlain brand.
  • Relevant certifications (Beauty Therapy Level 3 Qualification and upwards) and degrees in hospitality, beauty therapy, or business administration are a plus.
  • Strong preference for someone with previous Guerlain experience but will consider other applications.
  • Fluent in French is highly desirable
