Assist the Head Men's and Women's Soccer Coaches with recruiting, scouting and practice planning.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform competition day duties as assigned, working daily with our goalkeepers
Assist with practice and competition day management and activities for all players, work on overall team strategy with special emphasis on keepers.
Prepare goalies for game day, participation in selection.
Help with the planning and organization of camps and clinics.
OTHER DUTIES AND ASSIGNMENTS
Know and comply with all NCAA rules and regulations, and pass the NCAA Coaches Certification Exam annually
Must be CPR and First Aid certified
Provide positive leadership for student-athletes.
Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree preferred.
Experience:1 to 3 years of goalkeeping experience.
Licenses or Certifications: CPR and First Aid certified
Financial Responsibility: None
Supervision: None
Special Knowledge: Know and comply with all NCAA rules and regulations, and pass the NCAA Coaches Certification Exam annually
SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS
Ability to travel; heavy lifting required (50 pounds and over); may be required to work when the university is closed.
Ability to work in less than ideal weather conditions
Ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays
