Job Description

SUMMARY

Assist the Site Manager in the day-to-day site facility operations in accordance with contract and corporate requirements. Work with the Site Manager to oversee a functional area within the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Act as a liaison with government and military staff as necessary, to promote contract operational efficiency.

· Ensure workplace compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.

· Maintain and account for company vehicles, IT equipment, furniture, tools, and other company owned or leased property.

· Support client property accountability procedures.

· Respond to client-identified performance concerns.

· Report all operational, administrative, and logistics issues to the Site Manager as appropriate.

· Ensure scope of work is performed on time, meets quality standards, and is within contract budget parameters.

· Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

· Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise and direct subordinates, drive positive performance, and support quality control initiatives.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

· Minimum of three (3) years management experience in which two (2) years shall be management of electronics maintenance.

· Bachelor’s degree in management, a business-related field, mathematics, or engineering. In lieu of degree, relevant work experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

· Demonstrated experience working closely with Senior Military personnel, Government employees and other Contractors.

· Capable of establishing mission-oriented teams and training device/equipment packages on short notice.

· Familiar with United States Marine Corps training doctrine and training devices/equipment.

· Confidential data and information management experience required.

· Must possess the skills necessary to be designated as the Site Manager in writing by the Company to the Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO) and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).

· Must be able to obtain a DIBs card to access Camp Lejeune and other military facilities.

· Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

· Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and other media software.

· Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

· A wide degree of creativity and latitude.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently with little or no supervision while remaining exceedingly well organized and flexible.

· Proven experience in successfully managing projects and personnel.

· Familiarity with government regulations and directives pertaining to confidentiality, document retention, and project site protocols.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to prioritize tasks.

· Demonstrated ability to perform diverse duties under operating and deadline constraints.

· Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; monitors own work to ensure quality.

WORK SCHEDULE

Part-time. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.

TRAVEL

The expected travel time is less than 25%.

DRIVING REQUIREMENTS

Must have or be able to attain a valid state driver’s license and be insurable on the company’s automobile insurance policy. Driving, with or without accommodation, may be required when traveling for training and/or short occasional amounts of local driving. The expected driving time is less than 25%.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is primarily performed in an office setting but may also be performed in a maintenance facility as well as outdoors in military training areas. Work is often performed outdoors, in adverse conditions including inclement weather such as high humidity, heat, cold, high wind, rain, and various local conditions. Our mission is to train US Marines; therefore, we work side by side with them in all climates and conditions. Employee may be exposed to sharp objects and may be exposed to some heat, loud noise, chemicals, lead, and vibration. Katmai strictly adheres to the Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHA) regulations. Use of personal protective equipment is mandatory if applicable. Employee will be exposed to a wide variety of people in differing functions, personalities, and abilities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Position consists of sitting for long periods of time, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and lifting boxes weighing up to 50 pounds. Frequently uses hands/fingers for handling, to work with such hand tools as wrenches, screwdrivers, wire cutters, pliers, and soldering irons.
