Job Description

The Slot Performance Assistant Manager will assist in leading the operation of Slot Performance at Horseshoe Baltimore.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for supporting the Manager of Slot Performance in all departmental initiatives related to hiring, training, and process/procedure development
  • Fills in in the Managers absence
  • Responsible for overseeing ongoing daily operation of Slot Performance
  • Maintains working knowledge of all local jurisdictional gaming laws (federal, state, and local) and regulations as well as company internal controls
  • Coaches’ direct reports in pertinent skills of machine maintenance and repairs, installs, removals, moves and conversions
  • Effectively executes strategies in support of business objectives.
  • Continually follows up and evaluates the status of daily work and strategic projects
  • Ensures all guest disputes are handled quickly to ensure guest satisfaction within the established guidelines
  • Identifies and anticipates problems through logical and analytical thought processes
  • Plans and approves employee scheduling to assure proper staffing to meet business demands and project timelines
  • Maintains and enforces departmental procedures to ensure machine functionality, security, and integrity
  • Informs Manager and Surveillance team of suspicious activity
  • Coaches, guides, and instructs personnel in the performance of their duties

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5 years equivalent training/experience
  • 2+ years Slot Performance experience with supervisory experience
  • Computer literacy
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as needed
