We are seeking a results-driven Assistant Sales Manager to identify, develop, and manage revenue-generating opportunities within the Printing & Packaging industry. This role will be responsible for driving sales of X-Rite solutions, managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to delivery, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure excellent customer experience and supply chain execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial & Sales Execution

  • Responsible for selling the required product mixed with pricing guidelines set by the business unit.

  • Prepare and present quotations and proposals

  • Negotiate and close on orders for X-Rite Closed Loop products and services.

  • Regularly report and communicate to sales management: sales forecasts, order activity, stages of negotiations, pricing levels and competitive information

  • Represent the company at trade shows and on conferences with speeches and

  • presentations.

  • New business line development into the fast-growing automation market. Continuous Business Growth

  • Developing short and long-term sales plans

  • Identifying new market opportunities

  • Developing strategies to meet sales objectives.

  • Preparing and launching promotional resp. corrective actions

Sales Channel Management

  • Monitoring existing relationships with re-sellers and dealers

  • Meeting quarterly and annual plans

  • Developing and building strategic relationships within the channel

Qualifications:

  • Strong degree in Printing & Packaging Technology (preferred), Business, or Economics

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the printing & packaging industry

  • Proven track record in direct sales and business development
